Akin Wellness. A practice with a place online.
I designed and developed a portfolio website for a certified yoga teacher. The work brings the practice, its experiences and a route to booking into one digital home.

The starting point
A personal practice needs a digital home that communicates both the person and what they offer. For Akin Wellness Center, the brief was a portfolio website for a certified yoga teacher. My role covered website design and development, carrying the experience from its visual structure into a working site.
A practice, made understandable
The website introduces yoga, acroyoga and breathwork as distinct experiences. Giving those offerings their own place helps visitors explore the practice before deciding whether to take part. The strategic question is simple: can someone new to the teacher understand what is available and where to begin?
From introduction to invitation
The experience connects an opening introduction with information about the practice, its offerings, community voices and a booking invitation. These parts serve different decisions: understanding the approach, finding a relevant experience and taking the next step.
Design and delivery together
Owning both the design and development connected the intended experience with its implementation. This project reflects an end-to-end contribution: shaping how the practice is presented, then building the website that carries it.
The digital asset perspective
A teacher's website is a place to introduce their practice, explain their experiences and direct enquiries. Its value continues as the practice evolves. Keeping offerings, contact routes and booking information current is part of making that asset useful over time.
What I would examine next
A useful next review would follow a first-time visitor from the homepage to an enquiry: can they distinguish the experiences, find the information they need and understand how to book? That would provide a basis for further improvements to the journey.
Change the lens.
Make the practice easy to understand
The teacher, their approach and their experiences give visitors context for deciding whether the practice feels relevant.
